Description
This is a scan of a photograph I took for my photography class. I am little sad that the scan quality is not fantastic. I'll try to figure out if I can make it any better. This was part of my self-portrait series. I am getting at how my life as well as most others if not all others is just a show we are putting on for other people. We are not our real selves in front of other people, and the person we are depends on what group of people we're around, but after time... don't these fake people become our real selves?
Edit: I got to a much better scanner, today! Yay!

It's weird that I just mentioned this same idea in a paper recently... 
I like the photo a lot. I'm sorry about the scan quality, but it still looks really great. The colors are really vivid and definitely give me that normal feeling of what a masquerade would feel like, but then the dark background makes it feel a little eerie, which I think is really cool. Good work.
