Love Bank

In my chest
there is a bank
a bank that is rich in love

and in my bank
there is a large section
that is marked with a "Reserved" sign

To be rather correct
Most of it is marked off
I can only withdraw
a small amount
because the rest
is "Reserved"
for that one special girl

For this one special girl that deserves it all
I may still be searching
I may have known her before
may have dated her before
she may be sitting right under my nose

waiting for me to notice her
waiting for me to love her
waiting for me to realize

I do not know
I may be with her right now
Hopefully I haven't screwed up yet.

But I may not know her at all
She may enter my story of life later
she may be a co-worker
or the neighbor down the lane
but one thing will remain true

There will be only one,
one master key
with "Do not copy"
engraved on the face.
and there will only be one,
one keeper of the key
the key to my Love Bank
there is only one,
one way to receive
the key i have secured
well out of plain view
and the way
that she will get the key
is by me saying,
"I Do."
